was WellKnown Buffalo?

SHA EH GUSH "WellKnown Buffalo" was a traditional Crow Indian woman,
a mother, an herbalist and a healer. The Center Pole is on her land: Allotment
916 East Well Known Buffalo, assigned to her by the United States Government
in the 1800s.
The
WellKnown Buffalo Cultural Center and Living Museum
is a project of the Center Pole Foundation and will serve the Crow community
and public as a crosscultural education center and repository for Indian reservation
culture and history.
